First Danish online pharmacy to join the EAEP

Brussels, 5 October 2023 – the European Association of E-Pharmacies (EAEP), as the European organisation representing the e-pharmacy sector, is expanding the membership base to a new country – Denmark – with the admission of ApoPro ** ** as newest member. The EAEP is now active on 18 markets.

ApoPro, among the leading online pharmacies in Denmark, has joined the EAEP on 5 October 2023. The Danish e-pharmacy, a fully digital pharmacy since its foundation, provides patients with Prescription (Rx) and Over-the-Counter (OTC) medicines, and other pharmacy products, coupled with free medication consultation with skilled pharmacists. ApoPro has the ambition to increase the transparency of medicinal products and prices on the market by ensuring patients’ access to healthcare digitally.  

The CEO of ApoPro, Tine Vestergaard, says “By joining the EAEP we aim to raise patients’ and policymakers’ awareness of the positive contribution of online pharmacies to ensuring access to healthcare.
