eFarma joins the EAEP, strengthening the voice of the sector in Europe
Brussels, 16 November 2023 – the European Association of E-Pharmacies (EAEP) welcomes eFarma as its new Dutch member of the group. The Dutch online pharmacy will contribute to further strengthening the EAEP knowledge-sharing on prescription medicines and its mission.
With the addition of eFarma, the EAEP expands the membership base to 28 leading online pharmacies in Europe. The online pharmacy, based in the Netherlands, delivers both prescription (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines across the country, from a selection of over 80,000 items. From expert advice to delivery of medicines, eFarma’s experts provide patients with the best possible health outcome.
The CEO of eFarma, Hok Tjiook, says “We are pleased to join the EAEP as the European voice of the e-pharmacy sector. We will work together towards the establishment of a level-playing field across Europe for healthcare providers, with a view to ensuring patients’ access to affordable medicines through safe digital solutions.
